COMEDY | PERFORMANCE | DIALOGUE
Successfully co-directing since 2001, Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell bring to their commercials directing an infamous comedic sensibility, killer timing and the extraction of great performances from both actors and non-actors alike.
They have been BTAA Shortlisted for Snickers for AMV and Marmite ‘Love Party’ for DDB was shortlisted for Best Performance at the Craft Awards. Recently they have shot for Currys starring R2D2 and Chewbacca, re-united with Sam and Shish at Fallon for Wispa and have added post-heavy work to their reel with SKY for WCRS.
Their TV work has also met with great success and they have been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award and BAFTA for the series drama ‘Cast Offs’. Their latest to air is comedy Pilot “Rick and Peter” and a series of comedy sketches with Jazzy Movement for the BBC.
Joel and Jamie met at university, they have both acted and they both write and edit. As a duo they tend to divide duties right down the middle both taking an active part in all the processes and steps directing involves.
